Why they might be annoying:

Many of their songs are repetitive and slow-paced.
They keep putting out 'Best of...' albums with the same songs, but in a different order.
They look like your stereotypical 80's band - big hair and acid wash jeans!
Their song, 'Broken Wings,' is very creepy, saying that the person in question is 'Half of the flesh and blood that makes me whole.'
'Broken Wings' was featured in VH-1's '50 Most Awesomely Bad Songs ... Ever.'
Richard Page named his kids 'Tai' and 'Aja.' (Can you figure out who's the girl and who's the boy?)!
Steve George has been in the public eye since the 80's, never got a driver's licence, and never intends to get one. His reason? 'I'm a lazy bastard.'

Why they might not be annoying:

They were very popular in the 80's.
Lead singer Richard Page went on to have a solo career.
Steve Farris admits he spent most of the 80's high.
Steve Farris was also rather fond of the saying, 'The higher the hair, the closer to God!'
Their hit 'Kyrie,' was one of the first Christian-Rock songs that wasn't done by a Christian-Rock band.
