His nickname is 'Renfreak.'
He's had numerous run-ins with the law.
He got caught trying to steal a yacht because he forgot to untie its ropes from the dock (D'oh!).
He smokes...and not just tobacco, either.
He's been busted for drunk driving, underage drinking and pot/cocaine possession.
He calls himself 'a Tennessee hick.'
When asked to describe him, co-stars give cryptic responses like 'Brad is full of surprises' (Susan Sarandon) and 'Brad couldn't be more different from me if he tried' (Sir Ian McKellen).

Why he might not be annoying:

He likes to have a good time - so sue him!
He's one of the best young actors in Hollywood today.
His I.Q. is almost as high as Einstein's.
He has a strong belief in God.
He plays the guitar.
