Why he might be annoying:

A major up and coming star in the early seventies, his career bottomed out and never recovered by the mid-seventies.
Despite his father being an Austrian Jew and his mother a Russian Jew, he has usually been cast as anything but Jewish including; Polish, Irish, and Italian.
He quit a graduate program in Anthropology at Columbia after only five weeks to study acting.
Despite being at least six feet tall with a pretty good build he has never been able to project himself as physically forceful.
His biggest role was in the weird and badly dated, Vanishing Point.
He's never won any type of major award for his acting.
He's never made a dent as a comedic actor.

Why he might not be annoying:

He's spent decades proving himself a capable and versatile actor and has maintained a more than credible career in the most competitive industry in the world.
Variety magazine once called him '...a Spencer Tracy for the 80's.'
The mother of an amiannoying profiler wants everyone to know she thinks he's a hunk.
He served honorably in the United States Army.
He can play the saxophone and clarinet.
Although it is known that he has been married for years, he has kept his personal life so private that when he got married and his wife's full name are not positively known.
He has always stuck to his forte and never tried to branch off into writing and/or directing.
He knows Latin, Greek, and Hebrew.
He does a superb job playing intense, intelligent, classy characters.
