Why he might be annoying:

    He was called 'the white Pele.'
    Although he was part of what is believed to be the greatest Brazilian national squad ever, they failed to ever secure a World Cup win.
    His biggest career regret is missing out on selfies with Johann Cruyff and Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
    He was fired four months after being brought on to coach the Olympiacos football club.

    He grew up in the favela slums.
    He was a physically frail as a child.
    He has good humor about his shortcomings.
    His goal scored against Sweden in the World Cup was disallowed when Clive Thomas blew for full-time with six seconds of time - and while the ball was in full flight (1978).
    He's one of the best players in football history not to be on a World Cup winning squad.
    He is revered in Japan, and coached the national team to a 2006 World Cup appearance.
    Pele once said of him: 'throughout the years, the one player that came closest to me was Zico.'
