Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

    He sports a huge unibrow.
Due to his birthplace, some Vancouver media sources erroneously called him a hometown kid upon his trade to the Canucks.
He hit the post in the dying minutes of Game 7 of the 1994 Stanley Cup Finals, which cost the Canucks a chance at tying the game and sending it to overtime (June 14, 1994).
Most Canuck fans define his tenure with the team by that moment.
He was traded to the Rangers ten months after that defining game.
He struggled to establish himself in the NHL full-time.
He played on eight different minor league teams during his NHL career.

Why he might not be annoying:

He earned the Scholastic Player of the Year award during his tenure with Cornwall of the Ontario Hockey League (1992).
He was called up to the Blues earlier then the team had planned as a result of injuries which depleted the main roster.
He, along with Jeff Brown and Bret Hedican were acquired by the Canucks and served as key cogs in the team's run to the Stanley Cup Finals mere months later (1994).
He tied Bret Hedican for the highest plus/minus total on the Canucks during the 1994 playoff run.
He called the shot he made that hit the post, simply a good shot that just did not go in.
He became a financial advisor following his retirement as a hockey player.
