The Resume

    (August 7, 1939- )
    Born in Dawson, Texas
Acted in 'Quick Before It Melts (1964),' 'The Loved One (1965),' 'The Appaloosa (1966),' 'Banning (1967),' 'Guns for San Sebastian (1968),' 'The Baby (1973)' and 'Fire Sale (1977)'

Why she might be annoying:

She married and divorced screenwriter Robert Klane.
Her IMDb profile claims she was married to Walter Koenig for a nondescript period of time (no dates are given).
She claims that her love life interfered with and ultimately affected her career progress in the seventies.
She turned down the lead roles in 'Bonnie and Clyde' and 'Barefoot in the Park' at the insistence of her boyfriend.
She dropped out as the lead in 'Funeral in Berlin' opposite Michael Caine reportedly due to illness (but apparently her boyfriend was the real reason on that one too). That proved to be the last straw and she was largely relegated to television from that point onward.
She later said: 'I'm absolutely certain I will get back to the high point of my career. I've done it before and I can do it again.' (it didn't happen).

Why she might not be annoying:

As a teenager she played basketball, was a cheerleader, and competed in beauty contests.
She was valedictorian of her graduating class in high school.
Her first major television credit was a guest appearance on Gunsmoke (guest spots on Bonanza and 'Dr. Kildare' would follow).
She was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Performance in a Supporting Role by an Actress for her work on an episode on 'Arrest and Trial.'
Her boyfriend dumped her shortly before her career began to seriously nosedive.
She indirectly launched Faye Dunaway's and Jane Fonda's careers by turning down their star-making roles.
She gave up on a very promising career in Hollywood.
