    He became the youngest sitting senator of the 116th United States Congress.
    He has voiced support for the Hong Kong protests, including during a high profile visit to China.
    He has been a leading voice in his opposing censorship by Big Tech and social media companies, calling for regulation laws for internet companies and social media platforms.
    He joined Senator Bernie Sanders in calling for economic stimulus payments to Americans as COVID relief be raised from $600 to between $1,200 and $2,000.
