The Resume

    Born in Harrisville, Michigan
    Birth name is Hazen Cuyler
Right fielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates (1921–27), Chicago Cubs (1928–35), Cincinnati Reds (1935–37), and the Brooklyn Dodgers (1938)
Coach for the Chicago Cubs (1941–43) and the Boston Red Sox (1949)
    2,299 hits
    128 home runs
    Batting average was .321

Why he might be annoying:

    His middle name was Shirley.
There are several theories as to how he got his famed nickname; a common one is that it came from the player's own stuttering problem whenever he said his last name.
He was benched for nearly half the 1927 season because of a dispute with Pirates manager Donie Bush; going on to miss out on his own team's World Series win.
The restaurant he owned and operated out of his home - known as Ki Cuyler's Bar & Grill - was permanently closed after a mysterious fire destroyed the property (December 2018).

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of six children.
He was part-Canadian on his father's side.
He became the only player in MLB history to hit for the cycle, get a walk and steal a base in one game (June 4, 1925).
He led the 1925 Pirates to a World Series title, the only one of his career.
He led the Cubs to the National League pennant in 1932, although they were swept in the World Series 4-0.
He was one of the few Baseball greats not to abuse his body through the use of tobacco/alcohol, keeping himself in shape by hunting and fishing during the off-season.
He is referenced in a famous episode of Leave it to Beaver, in which Beaver destroys a baseball of Ward's autographed by Cuyler - not to mention Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. ('Kiki - that sounds like a fan dancer!')
