    His dancing with the First Lady would be otherwise unremarkable if it didn't draw attention to her husband's various nativist comments about Hispanic Americans.
    Several commenters on social media were quick to point out that she seemed to get more enjoyment out of their brief dance than she did with her own husband.
    He did tours of duty both in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    He comes from a line of Soldiers (his mother served in the Army for 26 years, his father served for 20).
    He spent ten years in the Army before reaching the rank of Staff Sergeant.
    He asked Melania for permission before twirling her on the dance floor (the crowd went wild).
    He described Melania as being 'beautiful' and conversational but 'nervous' ('I don't think she was ready for all that attention!')
    Of the experience he said: 'It's incredible. Obviously it was a great privilege and honor to get the chance to dance with the First Lady.'
