Football Player

The Resume

    (December 16, 1962- )
    6'2, 370lbs
Defensive tackle/running back for the Chicago Bears (1984-93), Philadelphia Eagles (1994-95), and London Monarchs (1996)
Scored final TD in Superbowl XX

Why he might be annoying:

    He is extremely fat.
As an 11 year-old, he weighed over 200 lbs and was a bully.
    His nickname reflects his obesity.
He always showed up to training camp overweight, which angered coach Mike Ditka. Ditka fined him, publicly insulted him, and removed him from the offense.
When he did run the ball, he never got very far and fumbled a lot.
He was eventually released from the Bears because of his weight problems. After a weak two seasons with the Eagles, he played for a 'world-wide' team in London.
He was a part of the God-awful rap video 'Superbowl Shuffle.' His contribution? 'You're looking at the Fridge, I'm the rookie. I may be large, but I'm no dumb cookie.'
He participated in the battle royal at Wrestlemania 2.
    He is divorced.
He appeared on 'Celebrity Boxing,' losing to 7'7 Manute Bol.
During an interview, he couldn't remember the name of his only grandchild.
He lost a hot dog-eating contest to 131-lb Takeru Kobayashi, eating only 12 dogs to Kobayashi's 50.
He scored a needless, kitschy TD in Superbowl XX. Legendary running back Walter Payton scored none.
    He didn't attend Payton's funeral.

Why he might not be annoying:

He might be the best run stopper in NFL history.
He was, and still is, one of the most beloved NFL players of all time.
At Clemson University he set football records, won a national championship, and was elected to their Hall of Fame.
He single-handedly doubled attendance for the London Monarchs.
The combination of his blocking and Walter Payton's running was one of the best in the league. It helped the Bears to a near-perfect season and Superbowl victory in 1985, his rookie year.
Not knowing it was illegal, he once picked Payton up and threw him over the defensive line and into the end zone.
He was a coach in the Second Annual Lingerie Bowl.
He is a member of a very select group of people who have had G.I. Joe figures modeled after them.
He was a first round draft pick.
Despite rumors of animosity between the two, he and Payton were great friends. They recorded a duet after the Superbowl.
He now works as a mason and bricklayer.
Despite his weight, he is still in pretty good shape.
He said 'You put up six scaffolds, then lay brick all day in 100-degree heat, we'll see what kind of shape you're in.'
    He enjoys fishing.
