Why Doc Walker might be annoying:

They didn’t receive mainstream recognition until six years after they released their first album.
Their debut album ‘Good Day to Ride’ was recorded on an independent label and gets ignored by music pundits.
Their band lineup saw extensive turnover outside of Chris & Dave.
The turnover was so extensive that the record label chose to use pictures of simply Chris & Dave when promoting the band.
Their band name is misleading as there is nobody in the band whose last name was Walker.

Why Doc Walker might not be annoying:

Chris and Dave were childhood friends in their hometown of Westbourne.
    They write their own songs.
They had a strong following in their home province of Manitoba, before going mainstream.
They earned the CCMA Independent Group of the Year Award in consecutive years (2002, 2003).
Former Crash Test Dummies guitarist Murray Pulver was a member of the band in the early 2000's.
