Why they might be annoying:

    They were classified as being too wholesome by country music pundits.
    Their 2001 album ‘Shine’ was never released following the closure of their record label, Giant Records.
    They had a reality TV show in 2006 that centered on their move from Nashville back to Ontario
    They changed record labels multiple times during their run.
    Amanda and Tyler formed the duo Small Town Pistols in the years after they quit performing with Steve.

Why they might not be annoying:

    Steve initially worked at a power plant, before taking on menial jobs to support the family prior to pursuing his true passion of music.
    Their debut album ‘Nothing but Love’ ranked among the Top 20 on the Billboard Top Country charts (1998).
    They recorded a respectable version of Tracy Chapman‘s single ‘Fast Car’ on their final album.
    Amanda had success as a solo artist following the group’s disbanding.
    Tyler was able to carve his own path as a vocalist, when he served as the lead vocalist for the alternative rock group Motion Picture Ending.
