Voice Actor

The Resume

    (November 7, 1972- )
    Born in Portland, Maine
Voice of Spider-Man in the Fox Kids cartoon series (1994-1998)
Reprised the role in the video games 'Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions' (2010) and 'Spider-Man 2099' (2011)
Best known as the voice of Prince Eric in Disney's 'The Little Mermaid' (1989)
Portrayed Greg Brady in 'The Brady Bunch Movie' (1995) and 'A Very Brady Sequel' (1996)
Portrayed the half-alien teenaged son, Scott, on the show 'Starman' (1986-87)

Why he might be annoying:

He cites his least favorite project as 'Frankenstein: College Years.'
He began his acting career at the age of eight.
His social media feed very frequently veers into divisive partisan sentiment.
He starred as Greg in a couple crappy 'Brady Bunch' spoof-revamps despite looking nothing like Barry Williams.
Ironically, he had already played a 'long-lost Brady family member' during a dream sequence of an episode spoofing the show - on the short-lived sitcom 'Day by Day.'
He starred in both a major 80s sitcom and a popular Sci-Fi/Fantasy series but will only ever be known for voicing a masked web-crawling Marvel hero and a Disney Prince who kills a off a sea witch with the mast of a sunken ship.
He took part in two gimmicky - unnecessary - 'Cinderella' sequels, providing the voice of (who else) Prince Charming.
He was dropped from 'The Little Mermaid: Return to the Sea' sequel after producers determined that he still sounded 'too young' to be the father of a teenage girl.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He plays the guitar.
He practices Yoga, and is skilled in Shotokan, Kenpo, and Tai Chi.
He was a national teenage spokesperson for Greenpeace.
He was an avid reader and fan of the Spider-Man comics even before being tapped to voice the character.
He makes regular appearances at Comic-Con events, meeting with fans and doing Q&A sessions.
He doesn't mind regularly being asked by fans to redo his Spidey/Prince Eric voices.
He guest-starred on episodes of Blossom, The Golden Girls, and Empty Nest (in which he played Charley Dietz's illegitimate son).
He provided voice-work for two prominent Marvel villains - Bullseye (for 'Super Hero Squad' online) and Electro (in the 'Ultimate Spider-Man' series).
He said: 'Spider-Man's a true hero to me. I like him not just because I'm playing him, but because he worries about doing the right thing.'
