Why he might be annoying:

He was undersized for a forward.
Despite his status as a star player in Chicago, he never received half the media attention he should have.
He wore the Jofa 'toilet bowl' style helmet during his career.
His 'spin-o-rama' is considered a hot dog move.
Despite his credentials, the Lightning traded him back to Chicago for only a sixth round draft pick (1995).

Prior to the drafting of Patrick Kane, he was the highest draft pick in Hawks history.
He is considered one of the greatest Blackhawks in team history.
The Hawks traded him to the Canadiens for Chris Chelios, a Chicago native (1990).
He was a member of the Canadiens Stanley Cup championship team (1993).
He reached the 100+ point plateau six times during his career.
He ranked among the top three scoring leaders in Hawks history at the time of his retirement.
