Why he might be annoying:

His name is LeRoy Butler III, but it's pronounced 'L'Roy.'
His mom went as far as emailing John Madden to let him know how to properly pronounce his first name, after hearing Madden address him as 'Lee Roy' on a broadcast.
Some football pundits felt his small stature was a detriment for teams, which played a factor in his draft stock falling.
He was overshadowed by the likes of both Reggie White and Gilbert Brown on the Packers defense.
His career ended prematurely, after he permanently damaged his shoulder making a tackle.

Why he might not be annoying:

He overcame physical issues, which saw him have to wear leg braces as a child, to reach the NFL.
He was a three year starter at Florida State University, playing under Bobby Bowden.
He was credited with starting the 'Lambeau Leap' touchdown celebration.
