Why he might be annoying:

    He got his nickname from the gimmick of singing a verse of 'Ain't Got a Home' in a croaking, frog-like voice.
    He also did a verse of 'Ain't Got No Home' in falsetto to sound like a girl.
    Rush Limbaugh used 'Ain't Got No Home' as the theme song for his radio show's 'Homeless Update' segment.
    He was married and divorced seven times (including twice each to the same woman).
    For his last marriage, he said 'I do' on Thursday and filed for divorce on Saturday.

Why he might not be annoying:

    In a memorable scene in 'The Lost Boys,' Corey Haim sings along with 'Ain't Got No Home' while in the bathtub.
    He has been a longtime staple at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.
    He cameoed in the TV series Treme.
    His house was badly damaged by Hurrican Ida (2021).
