Baseball Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was rumored to have been ten years older than his listed birth date.
The discrepancy became known after the Angels felt he lied about his age, when his hair showed signs of graying, which made the team believe he was older then his birth date stated.
He clumsily tried saying his family had a history of graying prematurely, when he got called out on it.
His age played a factor in the Angels decision to leave him unprotected in the 1993 Expansion Draft.
His longest stay with a team in the majors was two years.

Why he might not be annoying:

He hit a home run in his first major league at-bat.
He is remembered by Blue Jays fans as being the player who caught the final out to preserve Dave Stieb's no-hitter, the first one in franchise history.
He was a member of the inaugural Marlins roster (1993).
The Marlins had no concerns about his age issues, and said as long as he gave his best on the field, that's all that mattered.
