The Resume

    (July 7, 1986- )
    Born in Los Angeles, California
Birth name is Anahit Misak Kasparian
Host of 'The Young Turks' on Air America with Cenk Uyger
Hosted 'No Filter with Ana Kasparian' (2018-19)
Co-Hosts 'The Point' and 'Weekends with Ana Kasparian and 'Nando Vila'
Appears as a pundit on CNN

Why she might be annoying:

Her 'foot in mouth' moments have been so numerous that she has been likened to a Left-wing version of Meghan McCain or Tomi Lahren.
She couldn't stand women who supported Hillary Clinton - until Donald Trump came along (can you say peer pressure?)
She got into it with Alex Jones after he and Roger Stone crashed the TYT live coverage of the 2016 RNC, yelling 'get off the stage you fat Fuck!'
This got her accused of being a hypocrite because A) she has been virulently against body shaming and B) because Cenk is noticeably larger than Jones (that coupled with Jimmy Dore spitting on Jones during the confrontation).
She is of Armenian heritage but sees no problem in working for a show named after a movement responsible for the Armenian Genocide.
She was heckled by members of the Armenian Youth Federation over the show's name during Q&A at California State University.
She admitted to being a politically biased news personality, telling Forbes: 'I can't pretend I'm some robot that's always neutral. I need to share my opinion – and sometimes aggressively so.'

Why she might not be annoying:

    Her parents are Armenian immigrants.
She has attested to experiencing harassment and threats over her association with TYT.
She identifies as an atheist who pushes for progressive values.
She advocates criminal justice reform and has been a critic of private and for-profit prisons, calling them 'hideous institutions.'
She supports campaign finance reform to get money out of politics.
She is a frequent target of Alt Right personalities like Sargon of Akaad and Mark Dice.
She is a staunch Democrat but has been vocally critical of President Biden's administration and policies.
She was honest in admitting that she didn't know key details of the Kyle Rittenhouse case which exonerated him, and corrected the record after learning it.
