Why he might be annoying:

He has a strange obsession with the number 3, and has plastered little 3’s all over his drum kit.
While he was in Rage, they played a show naked to protest music censorship.
He smokes marijuana.
He is tattooed.
During a Saturday Night Live performance, he and his Rage band mates hung upside-down American flags on all of their equipment. A stagehand had to run on stage and take the flags down minutes before they went on stage. Rage got kicked out of the studio before they could come back on stage for a second song.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a big fan of Led Zeppelin, and lists John Bonham as his major influence.
He posted an ad in the newspaper, that Tom Morello found, thus forming Rage Against the Machine.
He, along with Tom Morello and Tim Commerford, joined with Chris Cornell from Soundgarden, to form Audioslave.
He was the least political member of Rage.
After watching ‘Money ruin his father,’ after his father death in 1994, he vowed not to put a lot of meaning on material things.
