Why he might be annoying:

He was a soprano at the Metropolitan Opera. (You read that right: a boy soprano.)
Never mind dear old dad — some of his earlier snapshots drew physical comparisons to Wayne Knight.
No, he wasn’t in National Lampoon’s Animal House; but he was in its short-lived TV adaptation as Bluto’s brother Blotto.
A good number of ethnicities have been attributed to him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He had a knack for playing manic characters just as well as his father.
When his first marriage ended in divorce – after some 15 years – he waited some 18 years to remarry.
He had a significant Broadway run, in the 70s and in the 90s (working as a stage director in between).
He had a background in chess (which wasn’t a liability for ‘Searching for Bobby Fischer’)
