The Resume

    (April 22, 1937-circa July 4, 1975)
Born in New Lambton, New South Wales, Australia
    Publisher of alternative newspaper NOW
Opposed development project in her suburban neighborhood of Kings Cross
Presumed kidnapped and killed by developers (July 4, 1975)
Basis for the films 'Heatwave' and 'The Killing of Angel Street'

Why she might be annoying:

She flaunted a gigantic beehive wig.
    She attended an all-girls school.
Her marriage to Dutchman Jorgen Nielsen lasted just 5 years.
Her work as a publisher and neighborhood advocate was said to be nothing more than a hobby for a rich woman with too much time on her hands.
She was hung over the morning of her disappearance.

Why she might not be annoying:

She opposed the development because tennants would be evicted and historic homes demolished in the process.
On the evening of her presumed murder, she visited a drag club to discuss advertising in her paper.
The club was owned by mobster Abe Saffron, who hired three of the employees to kidnap and kill Juanita.
The bar's receptionist claimed she saw Juanita's bullet-riddled corpse in the venue's storeroom, with a trio of gun-holding thugs standing over it.
A police inquest concluded she was murdered due to her resistance to the development and writing a possible expose of corruption in the Cross.
As of 2011, her remains have never been found.
