Why he might be annoying:

    His favorite song is 'Unchained Melody.'
    He has large ears.
    He is a natural redhead but dyed his hair brown to tone down his appearance.
    His favorite female pop artists are country singers (Shania Twain and Faith Hill).
    He is allergic to shellfish and (although he doesn't look it), he is also alergic to nuts.
    His right eye is three times the size of his left eye.
    His hit song 'Invisible,' sound like he wants to be a stalker and we don't know whether he is stalking a man or woman.
    Just about every time he tells a story it involves his mother.
    When Jay Leno wanted to show his drivers license picture he kept begging him not to, as he reached into his wallet and handed Jay the picture.
    After 'American Idol' ended its season he and Kimberly Locke moved in together, in a platonic relationship.
    He artificially inseminated a woman nearly twice his age to become a dad (August 2008).

Why he might not be annoying:

    He works with autistic children.
    He considers his mother the most important person in his life.
    Under the advice of Simon, he underwent a hair and clothes makeover and pleased the judges with the results.
    Despite his unusual appearance, he was chosen over thousands of singers to appear on 'American Idol.'
    He has incredible green eyes.
    He feels that the American Idol audition process was tough but fair.
    He used to drive a 1999 Honda Accord (sold it to a fan).
    So far, he's seen more post American Idol success than his victor, Ruben Studdard.
