Radio Personality

The Resume

    (July 23, 1979- )
    Born in Chevy Chase, Maryland
    Radio disc jockey
    Middle name is Elliot
Co-hosts 'Ebro in the Morning' and The Michael Kay Show
Appeared on VH-1's 'This is Hot 97'
    WWE 24/7 Champion (2021)
    Hosted MTV's Hip Hop Squares
Acted in 'Barbershop: The Next Cut'

Why he might be annoying:

    He was a Maryland wanksta.
    His interview style is inconsistent.
He lent credibility to Danielle Bregoli (AKA Cash Me Outside Girl/Bhad Bharbie) by giving her a softball interview.
His visibility in the Hip Hop world has led some to mistakenly conclude he's also Eminem's manager (no, that's PAUL Rosenberg).
His remarking that Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' single was 'not real hip-hop' led Minaj to pull out as the headliner for Hot 97's Summer Jam 2012 concert after he refused to apologize (she was replaced by Nas and Lauryn Hill).
Funkmaster Flex called him 'fake Hip Hop' to his face in a live radio segment and he could barely even respond afterward.
He randomly pursued a wrestling title - pinning R-Truth to win the WWE 24/7 Championship (January 31, 2021).
The following day, while he was doing the Michael Kay Show, R-Truth snuck up on him and pinned him to win back his title live on air.

Why he might not be annoying:

He hosts a podcast with Mike Tyson.
As an underground DJ, he made online parody videos that were seen by Hot 97 - ultimately leading to a job offer.
He's been a huge wrestling fan for years and even hosts a YouTube show where he interviews WWE greats like Jesse Ventura and Hulk Hogan.
He ended his feud with Nicki Minaj when the singer appeared as a guest on his Hot 97 morning show in 2013 and the two made up.
He's active with raising funds and awareness for The North Shore Animal League.
He throws an annual summer concert, Peterpalooza, in celebration of his birthday that regularly attracts up-and-coming artists.
He is also known for supporting and introducing the public to New York rap artists (he's helped Joey Bada$$, A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator at points in their career).
He's always been open about coming from an upper-middle class Jewish white family (making him an outlier in the Hip Hop community).
