    He allegedly sold hashish during the 1980's, which he denies, when asked about it.
    He is just as hypocritical as his brother, when asked about the latter's drug and alcohol abuse.
    His tenure as a Toronto City Councillor has largely been overshadowed by his brother's buffoonery.
    He often makes controversial and inappropriate comments.

    He is willing to defend his brother under any circumstances.
    He served as his brother's campaign manager for his re-election bid, which was suspended due to Rob being in rehab.
    He was responsible for Deco Label's American expansion project.
    He is often considered a voice of reason to his brother's questionable conduct during his time as Toronto's mayor.
    His father Doug, Sr. was a member of the Ontario Provincial Parliament during the 1990's in the Mike Harris government,
