Drafted 16th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 1973 NBA Draft
Played for the Virginia Squires (1973, 1976), San Antonio Spurs (1973-75), New York Nets (1975-76), Milwaukee Bucks (1976-77), Buffalo Braves/San Diego Clippers (1977-83), Los Angeles Lakers (1983-84) and the Australian Udine (1984-85)

Why he might be annoying:

He never intended to pursue a career in basketball, as he was talked into doing it because of his height.
His role on the UCLA basketball team was that of a benchwarmer.
He never started a game during his entire four year college career.
He was drafted in the first round, largely on the strength of his performance in the Olympic trials.
He played on six different teams in both the ABA and NBA combined.

Why he might not be annoying:

He and his sister were reunited with their parents and brother in the United States on 'It Could Be You,' after it was revealed the two were sent to an orphanage in the Netherlands.
He is the only player in basketball history to lead both the ABA and NBA in rebounds.
He was a member of two National Championship teams at UCLA (1971, 1972).
He was a fan favorite amongst the Clippers players during the team's stint in San Diego.
He served as the basketball coach at Christian Heritage College for ten years after retiring from active play.
