    His tenure with the Bruins was overshadowed by those of Patrice Bergeron and Brad Marchand.
    His skating prowess was questioned by hockey pundits, who felt it was too slow.
    He initially objected to the idea of a playing in a bubble city for the 2020 Stanley Cup playoffs.

    He established himself as a scoring threat, after opting to play for Gatineau of the QMJHL.
    He was a member of the Bruins team that won their first Stanley Cup championship in 39 years (2011).
