The Resume

    (September 5, 1952- )
Acted in 'Lords of Discipline,' 'Life Father Like Son,' 'Star Trek: First Contact,' 'Star Trek: Insurrection,' and 'The Learning Curve'
Portrayed Grady Fletcher on Murder, She Wrote (1984 -95)

Why he might be annoying:

His scenes in Dances with Wolves were cut from the final print (they can be seen in the extended cut though).
His 'soft but manly' voice oddly got him typecast as cartoon princes - one in the opening of the Fran Drescher comedy 'Beautician and the Beast' and the other in the unauthorized Snow White sequel 'Happily Ever After.'
He's only known for his perpetual stint as Angela Lansbury's woobie nephew on Murder She Wrote who can't hold a job or girlfriend.
Grady's failure in life was such a running gag on the show that one episode had a hilarious phone conversation between Jessica Fletcher and Grady that went as follows: 'Aunt Jess, it happened again!' 'Oh, no, Grady! Not another murder!?' 'No, I've been dumped AGAIN.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of the few recurring characters to appear on episodes throughout Murder She Wrote's twelve-year run.
His wife Debbie Zipp guested on Murder She Wrote as Grady's girlfriend and wife, Donna Mayberry.
He did voiceover work for 1980s Marvel cartoons, including on The Incredible Hulk (as Rick Jones) and Spider-Man (as John Jameson).
He worked on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood as the voice of puppet Betty Okanak Templeton-Jones for over 15 years.
He has retired from acting (his last credited role was on a 2002 episode of <33561 Judging Amy).
He later became editor and co-host on Digital Production BuZZ and founded the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group.
