The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He was undersized for a forward.
He played on five different teams.
He asked for a trade out of Winnipeg, largely in part cause he took issues with Canada's high tax rates.
Like many of his peers on the Olympic team, his professional career was marginal.
He spent the final couple seasons of his pro career in the minor leagues.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is the son and nephew of former 1960 U.S. Olympic gold medal winning hockey players Bob and Roger Christian.
He was a member of the 1980 'Miracle on Ice' team.
He had no issues being used as a defenseman in the 1980 Olympics, despite his natural position being forward.
He was considered a complete player, who excelled in all situations by hockey pundits.
He, along with his dad and uncle helped co-found the Christian Brothers hockey stick company, which was based out of their hometown of Warroad, Minnesota, prior to its 2009 closure.
