    Born in Waldheim, Saskatchewan, Canada
    Left wing and 'enforcer' for the Philadelphia Flyers (1971-76), Los Angeles Kings (1976-78), Pittsburgh Penguins (1978-79) and Buffalo Sabres (1979-80)
    Nicknamed 'The Hammer'

Why he might be annoying:

    He set a record for most penalty minutes in a season (472 in 1974-75).
    On a single play during the 1974 playoffs, he racked up four penalties and 19 minutes in the box: 2 minutes for charging, 2 minutes for roughing, 5 minutes for fighting, and, after mocking the ref, 10 minutes for misconduct.
    He lost a fight to Tim Horton, who was two decades his senior.
    He cut a record called 'The Penalty Box.'

Why he might not be annoying:

    His aggressive play helped lead the Flyers to back-to-back Stanley Cups (1974-75).
    He commented, 'I would take a punch in the mouth in exchange for a win anytime.'
    During one fight, he was bitten by Tiger Williams.
    He wrote in his autobiography, 'I love hockey and wish reckless violence wasn't a part of it.'
