Why Edmonton, Alberta might be annoying
The winters are really, really cold.
It is constantly in competition with Calgary for population and business every year.
Many citizens of Edmonton despise Calgarians.
It had a tornado which destroyed part of the city and killed 27 people (1987).
The PCL's Edmonton Trappers played her for 12 seasons before relocating to Round Rock, Texas (2003).
The Eskimos hosted the Grey Cup Game and lost to the Alouettes on home field (2002).
Why Edmonton, Alberta might not be annoying
It's nicknamed the City of Champions as the Oilers and Eskimos have captured 20 championships combined.
It made Wayne Gretzky a superstar and renamed the road out to Rexall Place in honor of him.
It is home to a lot of breathtaking riverfront scenery.
It is home to the West Edmonton Mall, the world's largest shopping mall.
