    Wrote ‘Trois Mouvements perpétuels (1918),' ‘Cocardes (1919),' ‘Les biches (1924),' ‘Concerto for Two Pianos (1932),' ‘Organ Concerto (1938),' ‘Stabat Mater (1950),' ‘Dialogues of the Carmelites (1957)' and ‘Gloria (1959)'

Why he might be annoying:

    His music tends to be boring.
    When he tried to get into the Paris Conservatory, they rejected him, describing his work as ‘balls.'
    While serving in the military, he was sent to prison for not coming back from leave on time.
    He was lazy and hated walking.
    Two weeks after his lover died of typhus, he was screwing around with somebody else.

    He was openly gay, even when it was unfashionable.
    One writer called him ‘half bad boy, half monk.'
    He opposed the Nazis during their occupation of France.
