Why he might be annoying:

He devoted his entire life to football and really didn't have much else in his life outside of football.
He demands his team to be perfect.
He smoked.

Why he might not be annoying:

The Superbowl trophy is named in his honor.
He turned the Packers around in just one year from a 1-10-1 record (1958) to a 7-5 record in his first season (1959).
Over the next eight years, his Packers dominated the league, winning six divisional and five NFL championships and also winning Super Bowls I and II.
He knew how to get his players to play at their best and was able to win with a team that was not really that skilled.
Even after leaving the Packers and going to the Redskins he was able to go 7-5-2 in his first season with them.
He made many quotes that are known very well to this day.
Many people consider him as the greatest coach of all-time and the Packers, when he coached them, to be one of the greatest teams of all-time.
He was outspoken against racism.
