Why he might be annoying:

    He got his start as Jimmy the Greek's ghostwriter.
    CBS noted, 'He berated, confronted and yelled at his callers. And that was when he was in a good mood.'
    One of his producers recalled, 'Not only did he hang up on [callers], but he would pound his fist or throw a pen at the wall.'
    He was frequently suspended by station WIOD before being fired for openly defying orders from the program director (1992).

Why he might not be annoying:

    While working as a Yankees batboy in spring training as a seven-year old, he befriended <4797>Joe DiMaggio; the two remained friends (and occasional golfing partners) for the rest of DiMaggio's life.
    He replaced Larry King as both a Dolphins commentator and a radio host.
    After being fired from WIOD, he joined struggling station WQAM and was soon beating his former employer in the ratings.
    He won the Las Vegas Review-Journal's NFL Challenge pitting ten prominent handicappers against each other (2017).
