Wrestler

The Resume

    (May 11, 1977- )
    Born in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
WWE Wrestler (since Spring 2016; promoted to Smackdown from the NXT roster on August 22, 2017)
    Started wrestling in 1998
    Previously wrestled for TNA/Impact (2004-2016)
    Trained by Val Venis
Birth name: Robert Francis Roode, Jr.

Why he might be annoying:

He's probably better known for his WWE entrance and gimmick than his in-ring ability.
His WWE entrance theme ('Glorious Domination') sounds like a knockoff of an Andrew W.K. song.
He enjoys over-using the word 'glorious'.
One of his TNA tag teams called themselves 'Beer Money, Inc.'
He also went by the ring name 'Bobby Rude' (no relation to Rick Rude).
Speaking of Rick Rude, much of Roode's WWE gimmick borrows from that of Rick's, including Rick's ego and penchant for wearing sparkly robes.

Why he might not be annoying:

His WWE ring name is a variant of his own real name.
During his time in TNA, female wrestler Jacqueline served as a manager and valet for him.
He was the longest-reigning champion for TNA, holding the title twice with the first reign lasting 256 days.
He kept his 'Glorious Domination' theme when moving from NXT to Smackdown.
'Glorious Domination' has become one of the most popular WWE entrance themes, played over 12 million times on YouTube alone.
