    J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award winner (1989)
    Acted in 'The Luck of the Irish' (2001), 'The Singles Ward' (2002), 'David & Goliath' (2005), 'Church Ball' (2006) and 'Heber Holiday' (2007)
    Recorded the albums 'Faith In Your Heart' (1998), 'The Gift of Christmas' (2001), and 'I'm Not the Same' (2002)

Why he might be annoying:

    He has an odd first name.
    He converted to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, even though he had fathered a daughter out of wedlock with a college girlfriend and was divorced with two children.
    He frequently did cameos in B-movies.
    He was overshadowed by John Stockton and Karl Malone during his tenure with the Jazz.
    Some basketball pundits felt his lack of exposure during the early stages of his career was a result of playing in Salt Lake City, before Stockton and Malone emerged as superstars.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of the North Carolina State University men's basketball team that made defied the odds and won the NCAA Men's Championship (1983).
    He returned to the Jazz during the strike shortened 1999 season, in order to retire with the franchise where he started his career.
    He earned numerous humanitarian awards for his community work during his career.
    He established himself as a fixture in the Salt Lake City area, during a time where most players weren't openly embracing of the city.
    He pursued careers in broadcasting and motivational speaking following his retirement from the NBA.
