Arrested on multiple charges in both Canada and the United States for forgery, fraud and grand theft (February 2005)

She seduced elderly men online in a ploy to marry them and steal their money.
She began drugging her third husband, Robert Friedrich, shortly after their wedding.
Shortly after Robert's death, she seduced another Florida man, drugging him and stealing his money.
She committed her first major crime at 34 years of age.

She grew up with an alcoholic mother.
She was the subject of the Canadian documentary 'Why Women Kill' shortly after her prison sentence was given.
