The Resume

    (July 12, 1941- )
    Born in Severodvinsk, Russia
    Birth name was Marina Prusakova
Married to Lee Harvey Oswald (1961-63)
Became a naturalized US citizen (1989)

Why she might be annoying:

Plenty of her testimony to the <11594>Warren<.11594> Committe -- such as claiming Oswald never expressed a reason for defecting to the Soviet Union besides a general desire to see the country -- strained credibility.
She sold Oswald's wedding ring for $108,000, his diary for $20,000, and a photo of him holding the rifle he used to shoot Kennedy for $5,000.
She also tried to sell the rifle itself, arguing that since Oswald was dead and no trial was going to be held, the government did not need to hold onto it as evidence.
She did a 180 on Oswald's guilt and now claims that he did not shoot the President.
She became a chain smoker. (Although a 2013 newspaper profile indicated that she had switched over to e-cigarettes.)

Why she might not be annoying:

She was left a 22-year-old widow with two young children when Jack Ruby killed her husband.
Despite her husband's crime, she was viewed sympathetically and received $70,000 in donations from the public.
She said, 'I want to thank you American people, thank you from me and my children. American people have very big hearts.'
She has been married to her second husband, electrician Ken Porter, for over 50 years.
She settled in the Dallas suburb of Rockwall, where one of the residents said, 'She and Ken are good people, the best neighbors you could ever have.'
