World Leader

The Resume

    (June 16, 1937- )
    Born in Sofia, Bulgaria
As Simeon II, was last Tsar of Bulgaria (1943-46)
Founded the political party National Movement for Stability and Progress (2001)
    Prime minister of Bulgaria (2001-05)

Why he might be annoying:

Since he was a child when he was tsar, real power was in the hands of a group of regents.
He gave all five of his children names starting with the letter K.
He ran offering nice-sounding but meaningless promises, such as an 'end of the conflicts between political parties.'
He was implicated in a corruption scandal involving Italian businessmen, the construction of a children's hospital in Sofia, and campaign contributions to his political party (2006).
In the 2009 parliamentary elections, his party got 3% of the vote and no seats.

Why he might not be annoying:

According to his mother, Tsarita Giovanna, Soviet soldiers would amuse themselves by taking random potshots where she was walking with Simeon and his siblings.
He became a successful businessman while in exile.
While he was prime minister, Bulgaria joined NATO and signed a treaty to join the European Union.
He is one of the few (if not only) monarchs to return to power as a democratically-elected official.
