Linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons (1988-91) and the Los Angeles/Oakland Raiders (1992-98)

Why he might be annoying:

He never lived up to his billing as a first overall pick.
Some football pundits went as far as calling him the next Lawrence Taylor in the weeks leading up to the NFL Draft.
He was unable to translate the same degree of success he had in college at the NFL level.
He was charged with a misdemeanor, after he pulled out a BB gun on a pizza delivery guy, after claiming he didn't have the money to pay for his order (1990).
His personality was described as being unpredictable by coaches and teammates alike.
He was involved in two paternity suits during his first three seasons with the Falcons.
His off-field antics played a significant role in the Falcons decision to release him.

Why he might not be annoying:

He rose to prominence at Auburn after he intercepted three passes and returned one for a touchdown, as well as making 10 unassisted tackles in a single game.
He earned his degree in education at Auburn.
To date, he was the last linebacker to be selected with the #1 overall pick.
His supporters say his underwhelming NFL career stemmed from the fact he had a huge burden placed on him when he was compared to LT.
He was able to turn his life around when he signed with the Raiders.
