Why he might be annoying:

    He had no interest in playing football until he moved to Texas as a teenager.
    His NFL career ended prematurely due to injuries.
    He spent his entire career on a Lions team that underachieved in the playoffs.
    He earned notoriety after he kicked another player in the head while airborne trying to avoid getting tackled during a rushing attempt.
    Chris Berman called him 'Billy Kung Fu Sims' as a result.

    He held the Oklahoma school record for career rushing yards, prior to Adrian Peterson.
    He was the first Lions player in 30 years to be selected with the #1 overall pick.
