    The clash caused several arrests, shootings and deaths.
    She was not crowned by her predecessor, Amparo Munoz, who had been dethroned a few months prior.
    She dumped her long-term boyfriend to date the likes of Julio Iglesias.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She became the second Finn to win Miss Universe.
    She's considered one of the most gorgeous Miss Universe winners.
    She reunited with her ex-boyfriend, and the pair remained married for 30 years.
