Why he might be annoying:

    He sported a fu-manchu mustache during his playing career.
    Despite being one of the more proficient scorers in Flyers history, he was often overshadowed by the likes of Bobby Clarke and Bill Barber.
    He was traded by Boston months after being drafted by the team, in a move that ended up changing the Flyers for the better.
    He was a heavy smoker, and would often joke about smoking cigarettes between periods during games.
    He played on four different teams in a span of three years, following his initial departure from the Flyers.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was the first player in Flyers history to score 50+ goals in a season.
    He scored the series-winning goal that helped the Flyers clinch the franchise's first Stanley Cup.
    His clean style of play was a stark contrast to the rest of his Flyer teammates during the Broad Street Bullies era.
    He was an avid racehorse enthusiast, which became known in the years following his retirement from hockey.
    His scoring prowess made him a fan favorite in Philadelphia.
