Terrorist

The Resume

    (June 5, 1963- )
    Born in Michigan
Also used the name Fatima LaRose on-line
    Raised in Texas
Moved to the Philadelphia area with her boyfriend in 2004
Began frequenting terrorist websites in 2007
Converted to Islam and expressed desire to become a martyr
Flew to Western Europe in 2009 in hopes of assassinating Swedish cartoonist Lars Vilks, the man who famously drew Muhammad's head on a dog body, infuriating radical Islamics
Arrested at Philadelphia International Airport (October 16, 2009) and charged by the F.B.I. with four counts related to terrorism
Imprisonment kept secret until indictment was unsealed (March 9, 2010)

Why she might be annoying:

She attempted suicide with a booze/pill combo (May 21, 2005).
She posted MySpace messages clad in a black burka, stating, 'Palestine We Are With You' and 'Sympathize With Gaza.'
When directed by a co-conspirator to fly to 4329>Sweden and kill Vilks, she responded, 'I will make this my goal till I achieve it or die trying.'
She believed her blond hair and 'Western look' would help mask her plan to assassinate Vilks.
She wanted to obtain European residency and marry a foreign terrorist so he could live in Europe, and stole her boyfriend's passport in order to provide it to the 'brothers.'
She was charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists, conspiracy to kill a person in a foreign country, making false statements to the FBI, and attempted identity theft.
She faces a maximum penalty of life in prison and a $1 million fine.

Why she might not be annoying:

After her father and brother both died in 2005, she became despondent.
Her exploration into terrorist networks and activities obviously came from a sense of despondency and isolation.
She was the sole caregiver to her boyfriend's ailing father.
Her boyfriend stated that she 'wasn't religious' and never attended services of any kind, until she just vanished in August 2009, stating, 'I came home and she was gone. It doesn't make any sense. 'She was a good-hearted person.'
When told of her plot, Lars Vilks coolly stated, 'I'm glad she didn't kill me.'
Her case has brought to the forefront a growing concern over recruitment of U.S. citizens charged with Middle East terrorism-related offenses, particularly among women.
