Hockey Player

The Resume

    (March 28, 1995- )
    Born in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, Quebec, Canada
Drafted third overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft
Forward for the Tampa Bay Lightning (2014-17) and the Montreal Canadiens
    Memorial Cup champion (2013)
Canadian Hockey League Player of the Year (2013)

Why he might be annoying:

He was suspended by the Lightning for refusing an assignment to their minor league affiliate in Syracuse, New York (2016).
He lowered his trade value by walking out on the Lightning and returning home for a three week period.
Some hockey pundits felt his decision made him come off as being a poor sport and too entitled.
He frequently butted heads with both Steve Yzerman and Jon Cooper over his lack of playing time in Tampa.
Despite posting impressive numbers as a center in Halifax, he never had the opportunity to play his natural position in Tampa.

Why he might not be annoying:

He and Nathan MacKinnon formed a solid core at the center position with Halifax.
He was a member of the first Halifax Moosehead team to win the Memorial Cup (2013).
He was considered one of the best pure prospects coming out of the Quebec ranks.
He embraced the opportunity to play for the Canadiens, upon being traded to the team.
