    Born in Haltern, Germany
    Founding member of the Royal Canadian Air Farce
    Appeared on the show in both radio and television form
    Known for parodying public figures and politicians
    Included impersonations of Queen Elizabeth II, Suha Arafat and Rita MacNeil
    Provided voice work for Gentle Heart Lamb/Lotsa Heart Elephant on the ‘Care Bears’ series (1982-87)

Why she might be annoying:

    She resembles a shorter Doris Belack.
    She does Donald Duck impressions as part of her routine.
    Her biggest job security outside of RCAF was as part of the Care Bears franchise ('nuff said!).
    Her being the sole female RCAF member for decades led to impersonations of female celebrities typically falling to her, even when she didn't closely resemble the real person.

Why she might not be annoying:

    She is of Ukrainian heritage.
    She has hosted and participated in many Ukrainian festivals and cultural events.
    She was awarded an honorary doctor of laws degree by Brock University of Ontario in 1993.
    She won 15 ACTRA awards, a Juno award, and the honorary Gemini Humanitarian award.
    She was among the first Canadians to be inducted into the International Humour Hall of Fame.
