    Created the comics 'Johnny the Homicidal Maniac,' 'I Feel Sick' 'Filler Bunny' and 'Squee!' and the animated series 'Invader Zim'
    Directed the music video for 'Shut Me Up' by Mindless Self Indulgence

Why he might be annoying:

    His work is extremely dark, morbid, violent and sadistic.
    He is shy and dislikes talking about himself in interviews.
    Although his work regularly lampoons sadsack goth-types, he has long been associated with them, and they are his primary audience.
    He constantly changes the color of his hair, with red being the most common.
    His animated series, 'Invader Zim,' aired on the children's network Nickelodeon, despite being known for the dark humor and violence in his work.
    Many episodes of the show wound up being edited and even banned in the U.S. because they contained events deemed too similar to the September 11 attacks.
    The show received near-consistent poor ratings, and after it was cancelled, he said he'd rather 'shoot himself in the head than participate in animation again.'
    He seems to have an obsession with pigs and moose.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Despite having little formal training, his comics have become cult classics and spawned countless memorable characters.
    He has a terrific, albeit morbid, sense of humor.
    His series 'Invader Zim' gained a cult audience, and has since been translated into multiple languages for international broadcast.
    His work has gotten him nominated for several awards, including the comic industry's Eisner award.
    He has had a passion for drawing since he was in pre-school.
    He loves video games.
