Known for Napolitano's highly intelligent and literate lyrics and haunting voice

Why they might be annoying:

They were originally called Dream 6.
The origins of either of their names are unclear.
They took a break from recording and performing from 1996 to 2000.
They never hit it big with no gold or platinum albums, and had only one Top Twenty hit single with 'Joey,' which reached #19.
Harry Rushakoff was kicked out of the band and replaced with Paul Thompson because of substance abuse problems.
They never received or were ever nominated for a major award.

Why they might not be annoying:

The combination of Napolitano's lyrics and voice and James Mankey's hard rock guitar work produced beautiful unforgettable music.
The song, 'Joey' has been credited by an amiannoying profiler for leading him to sobriety.
'Bloodletting' aka 'The Vampire Song' has literally become an anthem for the Goth and Vampire crowds.
They still have a website where you can contact Napolitano and Mankey.
They stayed out of trouble and are remembered for their music and not for getting arrested.
