    Utility player for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim (2003-10)
    Volunteer hitting coach for the University of Minnesota baseball team (2011-12)

    He was injury prone during his pro career.
    He was drafted by the Angels twice.
    He was an inconsistent hitter at the major league level.
    His tenure with the Angels ended abruptly, after he was unceremoniously released weeks prior to the end of the 2010 season.
    He signed a tryout contract with the Philadelphia Phillies, but asked for his release in Spring Training once he found out he wouldn't make the team (2011).
