The Resume

    (August 26, 1985- )
    Born in Ormond Beach, Florida
    Middle name is Edward
    Half of Florida Georgia Line
    Formed with Tyler Hubbard
Recorded 'Beach Cowboy' and 'Sunburnt, Barefoot and In Love'

Why he might be annoying:

His name is generic (shared with both an actor and a football coach).
He and Tyler invented a cringe dance for their 'Swerve' single.
He looks like Matthew Lillard when he played Shaggy in the Scooby-Doo movie.
He got into it with Maddie & Tae when he was asked about their 'Girl in a Country Song' video (which parodied the Bro Country genre and their songs in particular) and he replied: 'All I'm gonna say is I don’t know one girl who doesn’t want to be a girl in a country song. That’s all I’m gonna say to you.'
The duo hit back responding in a joint statement: 'We love them and their music, but you see, he's a dude.... He doesn't know what it's like to be a woman, or to be the girl in these songs.'
He and Tyler admitted to unfollowing each other on social media over politics (specifically the 2020 election).
One such example saw him tell a fan that he not only did not vote for Joe Biden but also call the public celebrations after the election results were announced 'a shit show' in an Instagram story.
Both artists pursued solo careers for roughly two years before officially breaking up in 2022.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a star pitcher on his high school baseball team and went to Florida State on an athletic scholarship.
He and Tyler met each other through a campus worship group at Belmont University.
He and Tyler raised $1.2 million for Feeding America as the face of General Mills' Outnumber Hunger campaign.
His musical tastes are diverse and he listens to Garth Brooks, Alabama, Lil Wayne and Eminem.
He is a huge fan of Animal Planet's Treehouse Masters and even guested on the show once.
Between 2012 and 2020, Florida Georgia Line achieved 13 #1 singles.
They popularized the Bro Country genre and at their peak came off as genuinely having fun with what they were doing.
He and Tyler are about their differences politically but still express love for one another.
