Why she might be annoying:

    After her asylum request was denied, she continued living in the US illegally.
    She lived in public housing while an illegal immigrant.
    She also received $700 a month in disability checks.
    She contributed money to her nephew's presidential campaign, which was illegal since was a foreign national.
    She told an interviewer, 'If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen.'

Why she might not be annoying:

    She moved in with Obama, Sr., when her husband became abusive.
    The Obama campaign returned the $265 she donated.
    When news of her immigration status leaked to the press during the 2008 campaign, she was hounded by paparazzi and curiosity seekers.
    She volunteered as a public health advocate for the Boston Housing Authority and as a computer systems coordinator for Experience Corps, a program in which adults over 55 mentor children in their communities.
    According to the White House, President Obama did not intervene in her 2010 immigration hearing.
